MY HOME IS THE PLACE I WANT TO BE

Care and support in your own home

At Lifecare we understand that people would like to live in their own homes rather than in a care home.

We also understand that the diversity of needs (no one size fits all) and that people should maintain their independence safely and with dignity.

As a result we strive to provide a modern and client tailored service to all of our clients.

As a CSCI registered agency we ensure that all our staff are vetted (Criminal Record Bureau checked and Referenced) and trained to CSCI requirements before they can start work.

However, this is not enough. We go a step further by
a. Providing soft skills training (such as cultural awareness)
b. Providing specialist training (such as sickle cell anaemia training)
c. Providing carers with specialist languages (where language is a barrier to care)
d. Involving the service user in the selection of their carer
e. Many more services designed to specifically meet the needs of each service user

Our close association with the training arm means that we have the ability to provide highly qualified and trained staff whilst keeping our overheads low. Our low overheads are thus reflected on our prices.

Lifecare Professionals has 7 areas of expertise that help us to meet individual needs:

Enabling Services
interventions that are of a particular time span and with agreed goals and objectives, (e.g. broken limbs; hip replacements; surgery rehabilitation; injuries; etc)

Home Care Services

o social support with daily tasks such as paying bills, going to the post office, going to doctors appointments or hospital, social activities, etc

Direct Payments:
We provide direct payments services to clients across 5 different London Boroughs. As a result we have developed a thorough understanding of the needs of Direct Payments Service users as well as the myriad of ways in which direct payments is handled in different localities.

Staff Cover (Residential Care):
We provide competitive rates for the provision of agency staff

Brain Injury Services:

Sickle Cell Anaemia Services:
Working closely with the London Borough of Islington Lifecare Has developed a staff team trained to provide care for clients with Sickle Cell Anaemia. Our staff are responsive and understand the nature of Sickle Cell Anaemia and how it affects our clients.

Multilingual Carers:
Sometimes inability of a client to speak English can be a major barrier to an individual receiving care and thus participating fully in life. There are many different reasons why a client may require a carer to speak a specific language but where providing care in a specific language can be of benefit to the outcomes of a care client Lifecare has proven adept at matching the right carer with the candidate. This has been done through the use of our extensive database of carers and trainees.
